Meet the New Associate
Tenisha Dandridge L.Ac. was born
in Sacramento, CA. She was raised in a military family and has traveled
extensively. She started her undergraduate at Morgan State University in electrical engineering and computer science. After the loss of her maternal grandmother, Tenisha
became interested in natural medicine. She received both her B.S. and her M.S. in Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University, one of leading schools of Natural Medicine in the United States. Tenisha, who began treating patients in 2007, has over 1000 clinical hours in
acupuncture and over 400 clinical hours with Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is certified in
Clean Needle Technique, NADA detoxification, CPR, Acutonics, and Tung's acupuncture.
Tenisha has had:
3 internships at Harborview Medical Center working with HIV and other immune compromised individuals, as well as war refugee
patients with pain, traumatic injuries, and PTSD;
3 internships at Highline Cancer center working with patients before, during and
after chemotherapy and individuals in remission;
1 internship at Highpoint Community Clinic working with the local disadvantage community;
10 internships at Bastyr Center for Natural
health working the general public with a cornucopia of health concerns including pain
management, stress, internal medicine, fertility issues, GI complaints, edema,
and infectious diseases like MRSA, Hepatitis, HIV, and the common cold.
Tenisha has been trained in many modalities including; 5 element, auricular acupuncture, hand and head micro systems,
8 channel theory, tui na, traditional massage, acutonics, zangfu diagnosis, nutrition, tai qi, qi gong, western clinical
sciences and lifestyle counseling. She has recently moved back to Baltimore to work alongside Dr. Ian Noel as a provider of quality natural health care at
